There are three different options for the building shell, depending on the specifications of your project. Call us to find out which system will work best for you.
Steel building shell: Our steel building shell is used for heavy structural design criteria and for many specialty projects that require special engineering. Maximum size capabilities are 56 feet wide, 25 feet high, and infinitely long; however, multiple buildings can be assembled together to create a facility of almost any square footage. This shell is quick and easy to construct and comes in 3-foot wide panels.
Alternative panels: Our alternative panels are made of high insulating foam and a steel exterior. These panels provide an energy-efficient space and can incorporate a variety of attractive design options, including various facades. This building shell can be virtually any size and can be constructed quickly.
Fabric shell: A fabric shell can be advantageous when a wide-open space is needed, and it provides an interesting look. Fabric shells are quite inexpensive and can meet many impressive structural criteria.
What is the wind and snow load?
Mod5 buildings can be designed to handle the structural criteria for any state codes and can be specially designed for very extreme conditions. 180 lbs per sq ft snow load and 180 mph wind load is obtainable.
What is the R-factor?
It depends on what options and shell structure your project requires. With the steel building shell, an R rating of over 25 can be obtained, whereas an insulated fabric shell can have up to R-11.

Can Mod5 buildings be configured for a high fire rating and explosion resistance?
Yes. Our steel building shell can be equipped with a wool fiber insulation which has a non-combustible fire rating. These panels can also be equipped with a special bulletproof and fireproof material.
How is this system modular?
Mod5 buildings are constructed using a panelized wall system for both the exterior and interior. These panels are quick and easy to take down or move according to your space needs. The whole building can be disassembled and reassembled with hardly any construction waste.
